It Started With a Vision

Since 2005, when our co-founders Doc Daugherty and Don Henderson pulled together their friends and colleagues to establish the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame, we've enshrined over 300 individuals and dozens of teams who have shaped basketball in our state.

As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, help us continue this proud tradition with an investment in our future.

How have your donations helped over the last 20 years? We're focused on sharing the compelling stories of Ohio basketball greatest players, teams, coaches and contributors.

Preserving Legacies

We're honoring Ohio's greatest basketball legends and pioneers through our Annual Induction Ceremony. In 2025 we'll host our 18th Ceremony.

Since our first Induction Ceremony in 2006, we've enshrined 325 individuals, 54 high school and 32 college teams into the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame.

Supporting Future Generations

We're providing academic scholarships to promising student-athletes who exemplify basketball excellence.

Since we presented our first scholarships in 2012, we've awarded over $24,000 to graduating high school seniors to continue their education at Ohio colleges and universities.

Building Community

We bring together players, coaches, contributors, families and fans to celebrate Ohio's rich basketball history.

Over the last 20 years, our Induction Ceremonies have welcomed over 12,000 fans and families to celebrate the game and Ohio's impact. We've hosted two basketball tournaments, bringing hundreds of fans to cheer on today's athletes. We've hosted dozens of recognition nights at local basketball games to celebrate inductees on their home courts.
