Maryalyce Jeremiah, Ph.D., spent over 35 years coaching women’s basketball teams at the collegiate level.  The 1965 Cedarville University graduate has had a distinguished career both as a coach and an administrator. She served as head coach at Cedarville University (104-77), the University of Dayton (69-5) and Indiana University (90-63) before moving to Cal State Fullerton in 1985. Going into the 2007-08 season, she had 419 victories to rank among the top 50 active coaches. She guided Dayton to the AIAW Division II national championship in 1980. The Flyers were runners-up in 1979. She led Indiana to its only Big Ten championship in 1983. Her Cal State teams made the NCAA tourney field in 1989 and 1991. She quit coaching in 1993 but returned in 2003 after an 11-year hiatus.
