Three consecutive championships, 101 victories in 110 games and a 46-game winning streak were among the great accomplishments achieved by the Dayton Stivers over the 1926-30 seasons.
The Stivers only loss was to Morton High of Richmond, Indiana in the fall of 1928 until early in the 1930-31.
Following the Morton loss, the Stivers quickly reclaimed their unbeatable reputation in a 46-game winning streak. The Stivers streak came to a halt in the sixth game of the 1930-31 season as they lost to Springfield, 30-21.
